On Thursday 22 October 2026, Masahiro Kotosaka will speak at AI × Management Control Day (hosts: Loglass Inc. and RX Japan; held inside Japan DX & AX Week Autumn at Makuhari Messe Hall 8). The session is the day's opening slot, JIW-P4 (from 10:00), titled How to draw a strategy that keeps winning in the age of AI. Attendance is free; advance registration is required.
セッションの主旨 · About the session
誰もが AI で戦略を描けるようになると、「それらしい戦略」と「勝ち続ける戦略」の差は見えにくくなります。本セッションでは、新著『経営戦略の進化〈理論編〉』で示した経営戦略の 4つの新潮流 を手がかりに、AI 時代にも持続的な競争優位を生み出す戦略の描き方を整理します。
Once anyone can draft a strategy with AI, the difference between a plausible plan and a strategy that keeps winning becomes harder to see. Drawing on the four new currents set out in The Evolution of Strategic Management (Theory), the session organises how a firm can still build a durable advantage.
4つの新潮流 · The four new currents
- ① 実践・行動としての経営戦略 — 計画書としての戦略から、現場の意思決定と日常実践のなかに埋め込まれた戦略へ。
- ② 企業の組織的境界の多層化・統合化 — 単独企業の境界を越え、エコシステムやパートナーシップを含む多層的境界を競争優位に取り込む。
- ③ 非市場・非制度戦略化 — 市場メカニズムだけでなく、制度・規制・公共政策をも戦略の対象とする。
- ④ AI・ロボティクスによる経営革新 — アルゴリズムとロボティクスが、意思決定と業務遂行の双方を組み替える。
The four currents are: (i) strategy as practice and behaviour, embedded in front-line decisions rather than left in the plan; (ii) multi-layered organisational boundaries, drawing ecosystems and partnerships into the competitive frame; (iii) non-market and institutional strategy, treating regulation and public policy as objects of strategy; and (iv) management innovation through AI and robotics, in which algorithms and robots reshape both decision-making and execution.
