2026年11月12日（木）、東京国際フォーラムで開催される 第33回国際アクチュアリー会議 ICA2026（11月8日〜13日、主催：日本アクチュアリー会、国際アクチュアリー会）のプレナリー・セッション 「Leadership in an Age of Disruption: Embracing Change, Inspiring Growth」 において、琴坂将広が セッション基調講演 を行います。モデレーターは日本生命保険 取締役会長の 清水博 氏、パネルには RGA の President & CEO Tony Cheng 氏、WTW の Global Head of Insurance Consulting & Technology Frank Schepers 氏が加わります。
On Thursday 12 November 2026, at the 33rd International Congress of Actuaries (ICA2026) (8–13 November, Tokyo International Forum; hosts: the Institute of Actuaries of Japan and the International Actuarial Association), Masahiro Kotosaka will give the session keynote in the plenary "Leadership in an Age of Disruption: Embracing Change, Inspiring Growth." The session is moderated by Hiroshi Shimizu, Chairman of Nippon Life Insurance Company, with a panel of Tony Cheng, President and CEO of RGA, and Frank Schepers, Global Head of Insurance Consulting & Technology at WTW.
セッションの主旨 · About the plenary
公式プログラムによれば、変化の速い保険事業では、複雑さに向き合い、革新を促し、耐性のある組織をつくることがリーダーに求められています。本セッションは、そうした環境で必要になるリーダーシップと、アクチュアリーをはじめとする専門職が産業の将来にどう関わるかを扱うものです。琴坂の基調講演のあと、登壇者の経験に即したパネルが続き、アクチュアリーの役割の変化、包摂的で適応的なリーダーシップ、次の世代のリーダーに求められる性質などが議論される予定です。進行は登壇者と会場のやりとりに応じて変わり得るとされ、ライブ投票と質疑も組み込まれます。
In a rapidly changing insurance landscape, the official programme notes, leaders are asked to navigate complexity, foster innovation, and build resilient organisations. The plenary examines the capabilities that such an environment requires, and how actuaries and other professionals can help shape the industry's future. After Kotosaka's keynote, the panel will draw on the speakers' own experience; themes may include the evolving role of the actuary, inclusive and adaptive leadership, and the qualities asked of future leaders. The discussion may shift with the panel and the room, and live polling and questions are planned.

The ICA is the International Actuarial Association's triennial congress. This is Tokyo's first hosting in fifty years, under the theme Tradition, Diversity, Innovation. The meeting is hybrid, in English, at Tokyo International Forum. This plenary is scheduled for Thursday 12 November (speaker information as of 25 August 2026; the start time is on the official programme).
