At this year's SFC Open Campus, the Kotosaka Seminar will run a booth for prospective students considering applying to SFC. A university open campus is a great opportunity to learn first-hand what a university has to offer. If you are interested in business and want to know more about the IBER-Kotosaka Seminar, the SFC Open Campus is a chance to do so.
今年度の SFCオープンキャンパス でも、琴坂研究会はSFC受験を検討する皆さま向けにブースを出展します。大学のオープンキャンパスは、その大学が何を提供しているのかを直接確かめる絶好の機会です。経営学に関心があり、IBER-琴坂研究会についてもっと知りたいという方は、ぜひこの機会にご来場ください。
At the SFC Open Campus, you will be able to learn about: ① the learning environment at SFC; ② our campus lifestyle; ③ what SFC seminars do; ④ lectures and classes at SFC.
SFCオープンキャンパスでは、①SFCの学習環境、②キャンパスでの日常、③SFCの研究会の取り組み、④SFCでの講義と授業、についてご覧いただけます。
① The learning environment at SFC — Friendly student guides will show you around campus (English tours are also available), letting you discover things you simply cannot get from the pamphlets.
① SFCの学習環境 学生ガイドがキャンパスをご案内します（英語ツアーもご用意しています）。パンフレットだけではわからない、SFCのリアルな姿に触れていただけます。
② Our campus lifestyle — At SFC, fewer required classes mean students can take a wide variety of lectures and pursue what interests them most. Many lectures are also streamed online, freeing students up for extracurricular work (the IBER-Kotosaka Seminar has its own extracurricular team, as do many others). At the open campus there is a booth where you can ask current SFC students anything you want to know about life on campus.
② キャンパスでの日常 SFCは必修科目が少なく、多様な講義のなかから自分の関心に沿って学ぶことができます。多くの講義はオンラインでも配信されており、学外活動に時間を充てやすい環境です（IBER-琴坂研究会も学外活動チームを持ち、研究会外でも同様の取り組みが多数あります）。当日は、SFCの学生に直接質問できるブースもご用意しています。
③ What SFC seminars do — SFC hosts more than a hundred unique seminars conducting research in their respective fields. First-year students can already join, and students may belong to up to three seminars in parallel, allowing them to approach what interests them from multiple angles. At open campus, six seminars (including IBER-Kotosaka) will be on display so you can hear what each researches and what individual members are working on.
③ SFCの研究会 SFCには100を超える研究会があり、それぞれの領域で研究を進めています。1年生から所属でき、最大3つの研究会まで並行して所属できるため、自分の関心を多角的に深めることができます。オープンキャンパス当日は、IBER-琴坂研究会を含む6つの研究会が出展し、それぞれの研究内容や所属メンバーの個人研究を紹介します。
④ Lectures and classes at SFC — Mock lessons will be held at the open campus. SFC offers an unusually wide range of fields — for example, eleven different language courses are available. Please note that mock lessons require a reservation.
④ SFCの講義と授業 オープンキャンパスでは模擬講義も開催します。SFCでは多様な学問領域に取り組むことができ、たとえば11カ国語の語学コースが用意されています。模擬講義は予約制ですのでご注意ください。
Information on the IBER-Kotosaka Seminar exhibition
IBER-琴坂研究会 展示のご案内
At the open campus, the IBER-Kotosaka Seminar will host an explanatory exhibit and short presentations. Members of the seminar will be present to answer any questions — including very general ones such as "what is business management?". Articles by Professor Kotosaka in Harvard Business Review and his work-in-progress books will also be on display. English presentations will be given by Daiki Yamashita (third-year GIGA student, born and raised in the USA and Germany, currently the English-track lead) and Ibolya Belaokva (second-year GIGA student researching conflict prevention and strategic alliances between ICT ventures and large enterprises).
当日、IBER-琴坂研究会では研究会の説明展示とショートプレゼンテーションを行います。研究会メンバーが常駐し、ご質問にお答えします。「経営学とは何か？」といった大きな問いも歓迎です。琴坂将広が Harvard Business Review に掲載した論文や、執筆中の書籍もご覧いただけます。英語によるプレゼンテーションは、英語ゼミの代表を務める Daiki Yamashita（GIGA 3年）と、ICT スタートアップと大企業のアライアンスにおけるコンフリクト予防を研究する Ibolya Belaokva（GIGA 2年）が担当します。
