本レポートの目的は、1999年11月の東証マザーズ市場開設から2016年12月末日までに上場（IPO）を行った企業の定量データを分析し、これから起業を目指す方や将来IPOを目指す実務家に有益な情報を届けることです。今回は、これまでにマザーズに上場した484社の定量データのうち、上場時CEOの最終学歴の情報に焦点を当てました。
The aim of this report is to analyse quantitative data on every firm that IPO'd from the launch of the TSE Mothers market in November 1999 through the end of December 2016, and to put useful information in the hands of would-be founders and practitioners planning a future listing. This instalment focuses on the educational background of the listing CEO across all 484 firms that IPO'd on Mothers over that period.
EOL、SPEEDA、会社四季報、S&P Capital IQ、東証要覧、上場時目論見書を一次ソースとして400社近くの情報を取得し、さらに会社ホームページや大手メディアのインタビュー、Wantedly や entrepedia など比較的信頼度の高いソースも参照しました。何らかの情報を取得できた企業は 436 / 484 社（90.0%）です。情報が取得できなかった45社は「Unknown」とし、引き続き収集を続けます。
Drawing on EOL, SPEEDA, Kaisha Shikiho, S&P Capital IQ, the TSE Yōran, and IPO prospectuses as primary sources, we collected information for nearly 400 firms; we then cross-referenced corporate websites, interviews in major media, and reasonably reliable secondary sources such as Wantedly and entrepedia. We were able to obtain information for 436 of 484 firms (90.0%). The remaining 45 firms are recorded as "Unknown", and we continue to expand coverage.
